The Age of Amazement.
The annual TED2018 Conference returns to Vancouver April 10 – 14, 2018. Internationally renowned for bringing attention to the latest research and innovation in technology, entertainment, and design, this TED event routinely attracts influential business leaders from around the world.
This year’s theme, “The Age of Amazement,” includes a focus on the transformative power of emerging technology and the impact these innovations will have on how we live, work, and understand each other. The Vancouver Chapter of the VR/AR Association (VRARA) has partnered with TED to showcase BC tech and innovation in VR/AR, and demonstrate how these technologies shaping the future of business, education, and beyond.
The LlamaZOO team is excited to join fellow VR/AR Association members Archiact, Cognitive 3D, Finger Food Studios, Ziva Dynamics, and Precision OS for an exclusive showcase at TED with key industry stakeholders.
LlamaZOO and our fellow representing companies cover VR/AR innovation in entertainment, gaming, healthcare, education, and analytics. Together we demonstrate the wide-reaching applications for VR/AR technology and how it is improving the professional capabilities for business across diverse industries. VR/AR products are being used to increase efficiency, improve safety, and lower costs.
The lineup speakers at Ted2018 is impressive – including Yuval Noah Harari (author of Sapiens), Alex Honnold (rock climbing free-soloist), and Reed Hastings (cofounder and CEO of Netflix).
