Welcome to the ZOO!
LlamaZOO Interactive was co-founded by game industry veterans who wanted to make more practical, yet disruptive use of 3D game visualization technology. We knew that we could take gaming tech and transform it into real-world applications. So we did. As a result, it created both a positive local and global impact while increasing operating efficiencies across a range of industries.
Don’t get us wrong, our crew still loves games. But our goal is to develop leading-edge technology straight out of science fiction that disrupts and improves how traditional industries do business. Together, we create 3D mixed reality solutions that give anyone and everyone access to contextualized data.
The beginning of LlamaZOO
In 2014, Charles Lavigne and Kevin Oke co-founded LlamaZOO. Combining their passion and expertise in leveraging interactive technologies to solve real-world problems, they developed world-leading 3D data visualization solutions to help companies in mining, oil and gas, forestry, and beyond.
A leader in Spatial Business Intelligence (SBI), LlamaZOO uses their proprietary SBI platform and family of software products to empower leaders and their teams to make high quality decisions faster. By facilitating contextual experiences with large and complex data sets within a single, 3D digital twin, everyone, regardless of skill or discipline, can collaborate and contribute more effectively.

Our culture
Our coffee-swilling herd operates out of our headquarters overlooking Victoria’s beautiful Inner Harbour, and has remote staff throughout Vancouver. When we aren’t geeking out over new technologies, we’re donning the latest AR/VR headsets to test our software applications. And because no llama can survive on work alone, we enjoy our share of team activities in true West Coast style, sometimes even investing a little time in Mario Kart or Beat Sabre. You know.
